A new color Kindle reader is set to be here this year according to many sources online. With news leaked that Quanta, a Taiwanese manufacturer is involved, it will be either a Kindle tablet i.e the Amazon Tablet or at the very least a new color Kindle 4 there is certainly a lot of excitement about the new Kindle reader.

As of yet there is no firm news as to exactly what is going to be produced but you can be sure that you will hear it here first. We are keeping our ear very firmly to the ground and from what we hear there is certainly going to be no doubt that a new Amazon tablet may well be what we are going to see, whether this will be called the Kindle 4 color model or not we simply do not know.

With many people looking for a release that includes a new touch screen as well as a Kindle color display option it really does seem very likely indeed that a Kindle laptop is in the making, but a single tablet akin to the iPad 2 rather than something that is more traditional in design.

From what we understand there is little doubt that the price is going to be amazingly low. If it is a release similar to the iPad 2 then we are going to be able to buy for a fraction of the cost. Amazon may well incorporate adverts as an option like they have just done for the Kindle 3. It will make the price incredibly low.

But even without this option Amazon are going to sell at a loss, just like they do with the current Kindle so that the money is actually made from sales of e-books, apps and encouraging people to sign up for Amazon Prime to receive free video and audio and demand. And you can bet that we will be at the front of the queue. It is going to be an exciting year, there is no doubt about that.
